The BET Awards go down tonight and the biggest battle of the evening might be between the biggest married couple. Jay-Z and Beyonce, who are now confirmed to attend the awards show at the Shine Auditorium in Los Angeles, will face each other for video of the year honors.
Beyonce has the second-most nominations with six and Jay-Z trails right behind with five. Well-known Beyonce video defender and practical family member Kanye West has the most nominations with seven nods, Ye and Jay-Z have two of the nominations for video of the year for their collaborative work on Watch The Throne.
Highlights for tonights show set to include a tribute to Whitney Houston by her mother, as well as performances from Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music crew, Nicki Minaj, Usher and Chris Brown.
Movie icon Samuel L. Jackson will host, while Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry and Quentin Tarantino are among the confirmed presenters. The show will air live on BET at 8pm ET/PT and 7pm CT
