The suspect in the Colorado shootings went to court today …… here is what went down..
Colorado prosecutors filed 24 counts of first-degree murder and 116 counts of attempted first-degree murder against James Eagan Holmes, the former neuroscience student accused of killing 12 people and wounding 58 others at an Aurora movie theater.
James Holmes also faces a sentence-enhancing charge of crime of violence and one count of possession of explosives.
The charges, 142 in total, include two counts for each victim in the July 20 shooting.
