Local Low Income Families Losing Benefits

Thousands of low-income families in central Ohio will lose some of their food stamp benefits at the end of the year. Last year’s mild winter will force a 50-dollar monthly cut in benefits, reflecting a drop in utility costs for many families. Local food pantries are bracing for new clients to help replace the food stamp money that was lost.
