Azealia Banks hasn’t been shy about responding to her Twitter mentions as of late, no matter who they come from. Last week, she and female rapper Angel Haze had their twitter spat, even exchanging diss songs towards each other. Then the “212” rapper then got into it with celebrity blogger, Perez Hilton, going as far as hurling a homophobic slur, to which GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) responded. Azealia also had something to say.

Via the YBF, Banks took to her Twitter and responded to GLAAD, once again trying to clarify her use of the derogatory word, f—–t. “As if all ‘derogatory’ words are not now in 2013, simply just expletives. Glaad and all these others need to give it a break…Picking and choosing when to be offended…..Pfffft, as f—ing if.”

She admitted to feeling bad about using the word but wrote how she didn’t receive this much attention when using the n-word. “It’s just all so hypocritical. And while I DO feel bad for using the word…it’s kind of weird/ironic to watch it all play itself out.” Her recent Twitter feuds are beginning to overshadow the music she’s already released for the New Year including the rumored track with her, Beyonce, and Lady Gaga.
