The juggernaut that is Shonda Rhimes is rolling honey! Now that she’s slayed Thursday night TV and become one of the most powerful women in Hollywood as the creator of Scandal and Grey’s Anatomy and executive producer of How to Get Away With Murder, Rhimes is moving into the book world with her new tome, “Year Of Yes,” due on shelves in November.

In a recent interview with Dartmouth’s alumni magazine, Rhimes recounted that on a dare from her sister, the natural introvert agreed to say yes to everything in 2014, including the commencement address at her alma mater, Dartmouth (she is supremely afraid of public speaking), and taking a cameo on The Mindy Project as the Dartmouth Beer Pong champion.

“Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made,” Rhimes said in a statement on Tuesday. “It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone. However, once Simon & Schuster asked me, I had no choice—what else could I say but yes?”
