The movie surpassed predictions, bringing in approximately $56.1 million after its first weekend. “I’m lucky that I found actors who resemble the original guys,” said director F. Gary Gray in an interview. “But in terms of priorities, it was more about performance first. Can you carry this movie? And then it was about street credibility and it was also about, do I believe you on stage? Presidential candidate Donald Trump is slated to report to jury duty Monday in Manhattan. The Republican said he would put his campaigning on hold to go to court. Trump has reportedly been called to serve before, but hasn’t made an appearance. According to Michael Cohen, an executive vice president at the Trump Organization, he never received any summonses. One of Nicki Minaj’s sold out shows took a turn over the weekend. During a performance at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California, fans below the stage began to fight. According to reports, chairs were thrown and one fan was pepper sprayed. The mayhem caused Minaj to end her show early. Minaj tried to help the fan who was pepper sprayed. “Bring her to the stage,” she said. “The one that just got sprayed with mace in the face.” After the show, she took to Instagram and posted a photo with the caption “Sold out show in the Bay Area last night ❤️.
