Columbus is full of activities and events to help honor our service men and women on Memorial Day.

If you are looking for parades, store discounts or events to celebrate Memorial Day in Columbus, we have a guide of events going on throughout the city.

Delaware County

  • Delaware: At 10 a.m., there will be a ceremony and honor guard at Oak Grove Cemetery, 334 S. Sandusky St.
  • Galena: At 1 p.m., there will be a ceremony on the Village Square, followed by honor-guard services and WWI historical presentation at the Galena Cemetery.
  • Powell: At 10 a.m., there will be a parade downtown, followed by a ceremony at the Greater Powell Veterans Memorial in Village Green Park.

Fairfield County

  • Lancaster: At 10:30 a.m., there will be a parade from Mulberry and Columbus streets to Forest Rose Cemetery.
  • Lithopolis: At 10 a.m., there will be a parade from the American Legion Hall on Smith Road to Lithopolis Cemetery.
  • Millersport: At 10 a.m., there will be a parade from Millersport Elementary School to Millersport Cemetery.
  • Pickerington: At 9 a.m., there will be a ceremony at Violet Cemetery, followed by an honor-guard march to Victory Park. There will be a Ceremony that starts at 1 p.m., followed by a cookout at American Legion Post 283, 7725 Refugee Road.
  • Pleasantville: At 10 a.m., there will be a parade from the American Legion Hall to Hampson Cemetery.
