Searching for answers and missing sailors, a community remembers a hometown hero after ship collision.
Many in North Lewisburg, OH paid their respects for one of the missing sailors who was involved in the USS John McCain ship collision. The Ohio native, Jacob Drake, is being remembered as a hometown hero.
Drake and the other missing sailors are being presumed dead but the community wants the Navy to bring him back home.
“I hope they can find him so the family can have a little bit of closure,” said Bryant Lowry. “He was doing something that was important. He was serving our country.”
