RADIO ONE COLUMBUS LAUNCHES POWER 106.3 IN CONJUNCTION WITH POWER 107.5FM
Urban Radio Powerhouse Promotes from Within
(Columbus, Ohio: November 28th, 2017) – Radio One Columbus has expanded the reach of our heritage station Power 107.5FM. Starting today the signal will be simulcast on WBMO 106.3FM, formally Boom 106.3FM. The Powerhouse cluster now includes Power 107.5FM, Power 106.3FM, Magic 95.5FM, and Joy 107.1FM.
With the change also includes the addition of a familiar voice to the Power 107.5FM airways, with Radio One Columbus talent City Newws being named the new Midday Host on Power 107.5FM and Power 106.3FM. City Newws is a Central Ohio native who has received many awards and accolades for his community involvement. He is most proud of his creation, The City School Tour, which has reached more than half of central Ohio’s schools. When asked about coming back “home” to Power 107.5FM & Power 106.3FM City Newws simply responded “Change is good!”.
