Lay their resumes out, and you’ve got one impressive trio of comics. But get DeRay Davis, Michael Blackson, and Mike Epps together in a room, and you’ll have is a roast fest for the quickness.

The three veteran comedians were recently traveling out of Louisiana after making a stop in Baton Rouge along the Platinum Comedy tour that Epps has been headlining. In a recording of them facing off, Davis was quick to question why Blackson is on the road with him and Epps if he wasn’t even scheduled to perform at Raising Cane’s River Center Arena that night (March 9). Blackson shot back by calling him a “rich homeless n***a,” and joking that he looked like “the n***a that betrayed Jesus.”

As Davis and Blackson jawed away at one another, Epps just laid back in the cut, but they’d drag him into the fun eventually. Just when he figured that the social media moment had provided for him to kick back and allow his brothers in the industry to get their rocks off, Epps was asked what each of them look like to him. “Harry Potter,” he said of Davis, but before he could imagine something up for Blackson, Davis made an observation of his fur and shouted, “a black sheep.”

The entire exchange leads one to wonder what other responses would have been kicked around had tour-mates Tony Rock, Rickey Smiley, and DC Young Fly been in their company at the moment.
