An Upper Arlington Police lieutenant arrested for allegedly soliciting a prostitute through an online ad has resigned.

According to a news release from Upper Arlington Police, Jeffrey Conrad has submitted his resignation from the force after Columbus Police say he offered an undercover police officer $40 for sex at the Varsity Inn on Olentangy River Road near OSU’s campus in January.
