Daniel Birdsall, an OSU student, died Thursday night after a fall from an upper level of the six-story South Union parking garage on campus. Birdsall was a criminology and criminal justice major. Authorities have not commented on his age or what year he was in.

Local university police and paramedics received a call on a report of a jumper at about 6:15 PM. University police are saying the man fell from the garage, and “they do not believe foul play was involved.” Birdsall landed on a driveway on College Road. Medics rushed him to Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center, where he later died.
