Columbus Public Schools now have a new Superintendent/CEO. The agreement was reached on Saturday, so starting in March Dr. Talisa Dixon will be in the building (No Pun Intended). Dr Dixon is currently serving as the Superintendent of Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools and according to reports will be in Columbus at least one day a week. Dr. Dixon told Fox 28 Columbus “I feel fortunate to be given this opportunity to lead Columbus City Schools,” shared Dr. Dixon. “I believe I can provide the leadership needed to move the District forward and help all students succeed in the classroom and in life. Every decision and every initiative put forth has to be in the best interest of students. I look forward to working with the teachers, staff, and school community in the spirit of student success.”
