The College Football Playoff rankings remained the same at the top for at least another week with Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Michigan holding on to the top four spots.

The third rankings of the season, found Ohio State unmoved at No. 10 and still a long shot to crack the top four spots for a playoff berth. The Buckeyes must win out and hope for a little help and upsets from teams in front of them if they plan to be playing in mid-January.

This was the first time in the five seasons of the CFP that the entire top 10 stayed the same. Final selections are made on Dec. 2, Georgia was fifth and Oklahoma was sixth. LSU, Washington State and West Virginia No. 9.
