For the third day in a row, Columbus City Schools, will not open their doors. Overnight about 3-5″ of snow accumulated throughout the city of Columbus! Due to the conditions of the weather and the roads CCS, along with most other school districts have decided to close for yet another day.

Weather reports show that we are under a Winter Weather Advisory until about 10 a.m. Roads should be more clear around this time. Until then it is important to be cautious and watch your stop distances.

This snowfall comes right before a much-needed warm up which is to occur over the weekend! Today, temperatures are to rise to the mid 20’s, giving us slight relief from the bitter cold temperatures we have experienced this week.

This brutal winter weather results in a 5-day weekend for students, teachers and staff! Enjoy it if you can and stay safe out there!
