Early this morning rapper, Shad “Bow Wow” Moss, and his on again-off again girlfriend, Kiyomi Leslie, were both arrested on battery charges in Atlanta. According to TMZ, Bow and Kiyomi got into a heated argument which led to the physical altercation. Apparently, the pair has been trying to work on their relationship which has been up and down over the last several months.
Atlanta police says the altercation occurred early Saturday morning around 4:15am. When they arrived on the scene Kiyomi, whose real name is Leslie Holden, alleged that Bow Wow assaulted her, which he claims is false. According to Bow, Kiyomi was the aggressor and attacked him in the altercation. Both parties sustained injuries from the incident. Both were arrested, taken to Fulton County Jail and charged with misdemeanor battery.
The inconsistent couple currently star on WE Tv’s “Growing UP Hip Hop” together. A rep from Bow Wow’s camp shared that Kiyomi may in fact have been the true aggressor in this situation. She got upset after learning she was not invited to attend Super Bowl related events going on in ATL with Bow and she became enraged. Allegedly, she picked up a lamp and bashed his face once she realized she was on the outs. The rep said Bow Wow suffered multiple injuries including a gash in his neck and side, and bruised ribs. He also sustained several wounds to his face which you can clearly see in his mug shot.
Both parties received a bond set at $8,000. Bow Wow has since been released but no word on Kiyomi as of yet.
Hopefully, the couple can reconcile their differences and move forward.
