LeBron James passed Michael Jordan on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list Wednesday night during the Lakers 115-97 loss against the Denver Nuggets.

James, who finished with 31 points and 7 rebounds, captured the feat after scoring on an and-1 layup with 5:38 left in the second quarter.

Earlier in the day, LeBron tweeted that moving past Jordan would be “unreal.”

LeBron, who wore the Nike LeBron 16s designed in the style of the Air Jordan III “white cement” version, was very emotional after the accomplishment and took time on the bench to let it all soak in.

James now sits behind Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, and Kareem Abdul-Jabar, who has 38,387 career points. Chasing that number would require LeBron to have a handful of the heatlhy and productive season on the downward part of his career.

Of course, the milestone now means even more LeBron vs Jordan talk in regards to who is the best. We want to know what you think?
