At this point, I am sure those who didn’t know Grammy-Nominated Rapper Nipsey Hussle have now scrolled through his Instagram or watched all of his interviews. After this information, you have now learned he has always represented his hometown street Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Avenue.

So it is is no surprise that the request to have this intersection named after him after has been approved. According to LaTimes.com, Los Angeles City Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson made the announcement Tuesday, the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Avenue will be named Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom Square.

Councilman went on to say more words of the West Coast Hero “As a father, brother and son, Nipsey was a rock helping to build an empire that will continue through generations. Nipsey will always be remembered for delivering a pure, authentic Los Angeles sound; his numerous philanthropic efforts; his innovative, community-focused business mindset; and his humble heart.”
