This years Met Gala was stunning with stars dressed and append in beautiful designer gowns and pants suits. Held Monday night this shindig was definitely one for the books, according to TMZ this year Met Gala earned whooping $15million for charity.
The theme was dubbed “Camp: Notes on Fashion” to honor writer Susan Sontag‘s 1964 essay, “Notes on Camp” about society broadening its attitudes toward sexuality … particularly homosexuality.
The Met Gala is the museum’s main source of annual funding for exhibitions, publications, acquisitions and capital improvements.
