Lyft is reaching new heights! The rideshare company just announced they will have scooters available to riders in Columbus!
There is a nice amount of competition already found throughout the city. With the increasingly crowded market, riders can utilize the Lyft app to locate and rent the scooters. The rides will cost $1 to unlock and 15 cents for each minute of ride time.
Lyft may push away from competitors with the announcement of exclusive rates for low-income riders! Their Community Pass program will offer an unlimited number of scooter rides to those who qualify for a flat rate of $5 a month!
Riders that receive or qualify for state or federal assistance programs may be eligible for the discounted rate.
Now that’s a way to Lyft up the community!
