It’s not used as much as it was a generation ago for punishment but, new research indicates people who remember getting spanked as children are more well-adjusted in adulthood. A Psychology professor said her study should not be considered a license to spank kids but said, there’s no reason to outlaw it. Her research found spanking is most effective between the ages of two and six.
