No wonder why so many children are afraid of clowns! This latest birthday “treat” instills that fear. Parents have apparently been hiring Dominic Deville, aka the Evil Clown, to stalk and threaten their kids in the days before their birthday and then attack them with a pie to the face. Deville sends chilling texts to the children, makes prank phone calls and posts notes warning that they are being watched. His goal is to pie them when they least expect it. If the boy or girl manages to avoid being hit, he or she gets the dessert as a present. According to Deville, the frightening pursuit can be stopped at any time, but he said, “most kids absolutely love being scared senseless.” It sounds like a bozo idea to us. But hey, if parents are willing to foot the therapy bill, why not?
