A record setting 50,286 people registered for the 18th Komen Columbus Race for the Cure that took place Saturday, in downtown Columbus – raising more than $2.5 million toward local breast cancer screening, treatment and education programs and national research.
 

The number of participants breaks the 2009 record of 47,000. The Komen Columbus Race is the third largest Komen Race for the Cure in the world.
