McDonald’s has issued a recall for 12-million decorative drinking glasses after they were found to contain a toxic heavy metal. The glasses are painted with images of “Shrek” characters and sell for two-dollars. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says they contain cadmium, which can damage children’s kidneys, lungs and bones and is also a carcinogen.
