The Grammys honored hip-hop the 35-plus year journey of hip-hop on Thursday night at “Word Revolution: A Celebration of the Evolution of Hip-Hop.” Naughty By Nature and Phife of A Tribe Called Quest were among the performers at the event which was held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.
Eminem has been slated to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony, where he is nominated for 10 awards. He will be joined on stage by the one and only Dr. Dre.
With the 53rd annual Grammy Awards just around the corner, the list of performers is slowly being made public. The Grammy’s official Twitter account confirmed that Rihanna and Drake will be performing at this year’s ceremony.
