Akon Disputes Will.i.am Over Jackson Album!
Will.i.am blasted sony Music’s soon-to-be-released Michael Jackson album, Michael, saying that it was “disrespectful” for other artists to finish the tracks that Michael started working on before he died. But Akon, who collaborated with Jackson on the recently-released single “Hold My Hand,” thinks that Will is wrong. ‘Kon tells TMZ: “I don’t see anything disrespectful about it … these albums would have come out if he was alive or dead so I think this helps to keep his legacy alive.”
Akon describes working with Michael on “Hold My Hand” as a “dream come true” and “epic.”
