Last year, Amazon took advantage of the Kindle and launched electronic textbook rentals which claims to save students up to 80% of their textbooks’ list prices.
Amazon has now taken things a step further with their brand new rental service for good old paper textbooks. It can save students up to 70% off the regular retail price, and students will be allowed to keep the books for 130 days.
