Ohio’s ban on texting-while-driving is in effect.  The new law kicked in at Friday, giving police the power to ticket people caught using electronic devices behind the wheel.  It’s a primary offense for drivers under the age of 18, with an automatic fine and license suspension.  Adult drivers must be pulled over for another traffic offense to be ticketed for texting-while-driving.
