With it being Black History Month, I wanted to drop a little Black History knowledge! Tonight, is all about Sean “Diddy” Combs, the creator of the “Remix”.
Years ago, artists and bands released records that ended up soaring up the charts becoming fans across the worlds’ favorite! Unfortunately, that’s where it stopped, and artists would release a new record hoping to have the same impact. Well Sean “Diddy” Combs had another way for the same record to remain a fan’s favorite by literally remaking the record with a new beat in which he labeled this creation “Remix”.
Now, artists of all genres and walks of life are remixing music! You’ve hear Diddy mention it in tracks, “We Invented the Remix” and he sure did. Thanks for making music more exciting and memorable with the birth of the “Remix”. Tonight, in Black History Month we salute Sean “Diddy” Combs.
