According to News One:

Tyler Perry joined Radio One founder Cathy Hughes for an intimate interview during Women’s Empowerment 2014. During the candid sit down, the media mogul offered encouragement to women telling them to make sure they don’t miss their blessings by not showing up. He also revealed a huge family secret.

“I love my mother to death, but she lied to me,” Perry said. The man behind popular Black films like “Diary Of A Mad Black Woman” and “Why Did I Get Married?” says he suspected the man who raised him, who he described as a “bastard,” was not his father because he was so abusive toward him. His mother, now deceased, always said the man was Perry’s father. After his mother died, Perry had a DNA test with his brother. The test revealed…

Atlantic Records Presents #BoosieSpeaks (178 of 182)

According to TMZ:

A massive Boosie concert scam is currently preying on unsuspecting booking agents across the country … and several people have already fallen victim.

We spoke to several of the alleged victims — two in Dallas and one in Detroit — and each of them claim the scam cost them $25,000.

Here’s how it happened — one of the alleged victims LaToya Thompson tells us, she came across a Boosie booking flier on Instagram recently and called the phone number. She says she was eventually put in touch with a man claiming to be Boosie’s brother TQ.

LaToya tells us, “TQ” instructed her to wire him $25,000 to book Boosie for a concert in April — and as soon as the money went through last week, “TQ” went AWOL.

The two other alleged victims tell the same story — one says he had booked Boosie for an appearance last week, and the rapper never showed. He says “TQ” also never responded to his phone calls.

LaToya sent us the contract — which lists a Giovany Productions as the company behind the bookings. We tried to get in touch with someone at Giovany but the phone numbers didn’t work.

But Boosie says it doesn’t matter — he never gave permission to any company to book him. All bookings must go through his brother TQ — the real TQ — and TQ tells us, he was NOT involved in the bookings in question. TQ also says he plans to file a police report.

For her part, LaToya has already filed a police report … but she’s probably SOL.

According to TMZ:

Rapper-turned-Pastor Mase — who built a lucrative church and related business partly on his secrets to a successful marriage — secretly filed for divorce from his pastor wife.

TMZ has obtained Mase’s divorce filing in Georgia dated January 2nd, citing irreconcilable differences with Twyla Betha. And it sounded nasty … Mase asked for full custody of their two kids and even wanted HER to pay HIM child support.

He claims they separated August 2013 — after 12 years of marriage.

But just over a month later — the day before Valentine’s Day — Mase inexplicably had a change of heart, filing to dismiss his divorce petition.

The fiasco is priceless — if you look at the website for Mase’s El Elyon International Church in Atlanta … the entire thing is built around his successful relationship with his wife. The two even hawk their “successful marriage” book series called “What Do You Do After I Do?”

And the book description is perfect: “In this series, Mason and Twyla Betha share keys to build a marriage that will last a lifetime.”

Define “lifetime.”
