1. The Columbus Public Library is celebrating black history month all February, and tomorrow you can enjoy Tony Harrington and Kids Poetry and Music. Celebrate the African-American tradition of the spoken word in this poetry and music program for kids. It’s for ages 6-7 at the Dublin Branch, at 12:45 p.m. More info here.

2. Saturday, Urban Strings Columbus Presents: “Cultural Connections Concert.”This is a concert of classical western and African-American music performed by a string ensemble and accompanied by a small choir.
