OSU Buckeye asks Taylor Swift out on a date? So did she accept or nah?
Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott has taken to Twitter to ask pop and country superstar Taylor Swift out for dinner. This may cause problems in her relationship with Calvin Harris, though.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Swift and Harris have struck a spark that the public has rarely seen from her. Unfortunately, rumors have pointed to Calvin having issues with the time the “Bad Blood” singer spends with her other friends. Having been known for her on and off love life, Taylor has used these sporadic relationships as fodder for her music. It seems she has found a man she could actually be happy with, but it’s unknown if they can maintain it.
Calvin has pointed out that Taylor’s tendency of “constantly putting her friends before him… needs to change.” Swift has allegedly noticed his temper on social media and the press is predicting another split.
Now with NFL player Ezekiel Elliott stepping in on Twitter, it is unknown how Calvin Harris will react. So far, the Examiner says Taylor Swift has yet to respond. This could be due to her being busy on tour, or it could be her way of avoiding another awkward situation.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris seemed so happy together when they were able to spend the time. Now with Harris pulling DJ duty and Swift in other parts of the U.S., such as Columbus, Ohio, the relationship seems to be on the proverbial rocks. This could be a perfect time for her to move on if they aren’t working out.
Elliott’s idea appears to be that while Taylor is in the Ohio area, she might have some time for a dinner date after one of her shows, according to Bleacher Report. His persistence has yet to pay off, though.
Taylor Swift has been giving a lot of her Twitter attention instead to Ryan Adams’ covers of her entire 1989 album. It’s unclear if the singer is even aware of Ezekiel Elliott’s dinner proposal or, as stated above, possibly ignoring it to avoid an awkward situation.
It has been a regular practice among celebrities to limit their public tweets to promotional material, so we can’t know if the two have been direct tweeting behind the scenes. Considering Elliot’s persistence with his public tweets, that seems doubtful.
