A press conference was held by Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther at City Hall following the shooting of 13 year old Tyree King after an alleged robbery on the east side of Columbus. King, was killed in a Columbus Police involved shooting Wednesday night.
Around 7:42pm Columbus Police Officers responded to a call reporting armed robbery at S. 18th and Capital Streets. It was also determined during investigation that King was in fact carrying a BB gun with a laser sight attached to it.
