Fans believe Kaepernick is not being chosen for a team because of his National Anthem protest last season which led other players to stand with him. In 2016 the ratings for Sunday Night Football were at its all time low.

Nearly two weeks ago a writer for Forbes said, “it is starting to look like disrespecting the country during the national anthem is accomplishing what the concussions, domestic violence and deflategate could not do–drive down television ratings for the National Football League.”

These protest that lead to bad ratings and possibly advertisers pulling out isn’t good for players or owners of teams. Whether people are protesting to stand behind Kaepernick, the National Anthem, or social injustice the questions is will you be watching NFL games this season?
