South Africa’s 1st Black First Lady has died at 81. She married Nelson Mandela in 1958 and they divorced in 1996 while he was still in office , She was once President of the African National Congress Women’s League. She had reportedly been ill and was recently admitted to the hospital with an kidney infection. They had 2 children together.
