Things got very heated last night in LeBron James home debut with the LA Lakers. James, 24 points and 5 rebounds in Saturday night’s loss to the Rockets was over shadowed by a brawl between Rockets point guard Chris Paul and Lakers guard Rajon Rando late in the fourth quarter.
Tempers flared as the two met face to after a James Harden was fouled by the Lakers Brandon Ingram. Paul alleged that Rando spit in his face which was why he pushed his finger into Rando’s face, causing Rando to react with a series of blows toward Paul as players of both teams had to separate the two.
While there has has been tension with Paul and Rando for years, no discipline has come down as of Sunday morning but all three are expected to receive multiple game suspensions.
