Earl Simmons, better known as, DMX has announced his 2019 20th Anniversary Tour for his debut album “It’s Dark and Hell is Hot”!

DMX was recently released from prison, January 25th, after doing about a year for tax evasion. Apparently DMX was jailed due to “failing to comply with conditions of his bail” in connection with the plea. Under the conditions of his release, X will be under supervision for three years and must begin paying a $2.3 million restitution due to his guilty plea. So we can conclude, he pretty much needs to get to some coins!

Tickets for the tour are to go on sale Friday, February 8th at 10 a.m. ET.

X’s first album “It’s Dark and Hell is Hot”, was originally released in May of 1998 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S and sold over five million copies. The album included the popular single “Ruff Ryders Anthem”. DMX also released his second album later in ’98 entitled, “Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood”. The sophmore album also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and remained there for three consecutive weeks. DMX was the second rapper in history to have released two albums in the same year, which both debuted at number one on Billboard 200.

DMX has expressed he wants to work on new music! Hopefully X fans can enjoy a dope throwback tour and some new sounds from the Baltimore rapper.
