Despite all his distracting legal drama, 21 Savage remains a stand up entertainer with a caring heart who wants to consistently give back to his community. He is giving back in a major way with the 21 Savage Bank Account Campaign. The campaign is an initiative with goals to teach and influence teens about financial literacy.

21 Savage created the initiative inspired by his 2017 hit single “Bank Account”. His goal is to educate young people on how to become financially responsible and present opportunities they may have never had or thought about. 21 hopes to provide some of the things he did not have growing up to others.

On March 7th, 21 Savage announced in a press release he would be joining forces with non  – profit organizations to push his campaign into second gear. The non-profits he is collaborating with are Get Schooled and Juma. With the help of these organizations they are to fulfill a goal of providing 150 jobs for at-risk teens by June 2019.

The jobs provided will include working concession stands at sports and/or entertainment events and venues nationwide. The candidates involved will get training, real world work experience, and of course, a paycheck. This will also serve as a great networking tool and help participants get connected to further education and career opportunities.

“As I have gotten smarter about financial management, I realize how empowering it is to control your money rather than be controlled by it. I want to help kids with a background similar to mine to get smart about their money,” 21 Savage said in a press release.

21 will serve as an adviser with the campaign, a role in which he has entitled “Money Making Mentor”. He will offer monthly tips and tricks on why learning how  to manage your money is a major key to your future success.
