Add another huge achieve for Jay Z as his album “The Blueprint.” The hip hop classic album will be inducted into the Library of Congress for Recording Registry.

Several works of art in all genres are added into the library and this year Jay Z’ crown jewel is being added. Along with Hov, Cyndi Lauper and Cab Calloway also will have songs added to the library.

Congress librarian Carla Hayden said the inductee’s art “mirror our lives.”

“The National Recording Registry honors the music that enriches our souls, the voices that tell our stories, and the sounds that mirror our lives. The Library of Congress and its many collaborators are working to preserve these sounds and moments in time, which reflect our past, present and future.”

Congrats to Hov and all the inductees!
