Every mother deserves to be loved and valued on their day.
The Coalition for the Homeless Mother’s Day Brunch is doing their part to celebrate mothers who are homeless.
Last year the group served over 300 meals, had activities for kids and gave mothers gifts of cosmetics and jewelry. Best part every mother leaves with a family portrait to save the memory of a great Mother’s Day.
“It’s been this comprehensive event that we try to make very special for this group of women who could easily be forgotten and deserve more,” said Co-chair Janet Forrest.
The brunch is held at L.A. Catering at 670 Harmon Avenue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
