Bronx native and superstar rapper, Cardi B, has officially pleaded not guilty in her strip club case! The case allegedly left two bartenders with injuries after a strip club brawl.

Today the rapstress stood before the court to enter her plea, following last week’s indictment on 12 counts, including two felony counts of attempted assault with intent to cause serious injury.

The incident occurred back in August 2018 at Angels Strip Club in Queens, New York. Officials say Cardi and nine others from her entourage allegedly threw bottles, chairs, and drinks at the club’s bartenders. Two months later, the rapper was arrested and charged with two misdemeanors. Although Cardi was offered a plea deal back in April, she refused to plead guilty, claiming she hadn’t injured anyone in the incident.

In December 2018, the rapper was indicted on additional charges. Now however, she has officially pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Cardi’s indictment had been sealed prior to Tuesday’s arraignment. It is now known that she is also facing charges for harassment, criminal solicitation, conspiracy, and reckless endangerment, all of which are misdemeanors.

On Saturday, Cardi told fans at an L.A. concert, “Fuck you mean? I ain’t going to jail, I got a daughter!” Referring to her first child with Atlanta rapper, Offset, Kulture Kiari Cephus, who was born last July.

Cardi B just won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Album of the Year at the 2019 BET Awards Sunday. She was nominated for 2019 Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice Award, and had two nominations in both the Best Collaboration and Video of the Year categories.

Last Thursday, she was also honored with the Songwriter of the Year award at ASCAP’s Rhythm & Soul Music Awards in Beverly Hills. “[With] everybody saying I’m not this or that, sometimes I gotta see it and feel it for myself because it’s hard,” Cardi said when accepting the award, per Billboard. “Everybody always wants to say I made it because of this or made it because of that. I made it because I worked my ass off.”

Prayers up for a speedy and successful trial for Cardi!
