Now, this is just ridiculous.

One of the cons of being a celebrity is being hounded down by paparazzi to take photos of you without your consent at any moment. What’s worst is that same pap coming back to sue you for using that same photo of yourself.
That is what is happening to Nicki Minaj as she has been hit by a $150K lawsuit for using a photo of herself without the photographer’s consent.
According to Splash News, the rapper didn’t ask permission to post photos taken by an agency. Yes, she HAS to get permission to post photos of herself.
“Nicki Minaj or someone acting on her behalf copied seven different photos – including ones depicting Minaj in a multi-colored Oscar De La Renta gown outside of the Harper’s Bazaar Party in New York City, in a plaid Burberry outfit in New York City, at a NYFW party in New York, and in a cheetah print outfit – and distributed them for display to her 91 million Instagram followers.”
The agency stands behind their lawsuit saying that Minaj uses her social media to make money. Since photographers get paid by magazines, etc to use their photos, she should too.
