Champagne Papi is being sued by a woman out of Staten Island, 24 yr old Amanda Giovacco. She is claiming that at his concert a few years ago, she was struck in the head with a beer bottle.
Of course the bottle didn’t come from Drake or his posse, but another fan. Giovacco feels like Drake and even the Madison Square Garden, where the concert was held was negligent to handle the raucous crowd. She was struck in the head Aug 8, 2016.
Her suit claims, the defendants didn’t have adequate security at the venue, they negligently served “excessive amounts of alcohol” to the concert-goers at the overcrowded venue and improperly provided beer in glass bottles rather than plastic cups.
Drakes team, and Live Nation have not commented.
