Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas Bring in Big Money From Tours
According to Pollstar’s Mid Year Business Analysis, both Jay-Z and the Black Eyed Peas are among the top-grossing tour acts in the world – and the only hip-hop acts to make the Top 100 Tours list. Jay-Z is at Number 12 on the list, having brought in $22.5 million so far this year, while the Peas are up at Number 6 with $29.5 million. These numbers put them above legends like Elton John, Billy Joel and Eric Clapton. Topping the list is Bon Jovi, who raked in a cool $52 million dollars in the past six months.
