George H.W. Bush‘s service was held at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. Over 3,000 political leaders and family members gathered to say goodbye to the man who was president from 1989 to 1993. At the service, his son,
George W. Bush said, “He showed me what it means to be a president who serves with integrity, leads with courage and acts in love with his heart for the citizens of our country.”

For the first time since the inauguration, all of the five living Presidents convened:
