New Yorkers got a trip down memory lane last night with the chance to see some of the members of Murder Inc. reunite on stage at the Dirty Money concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Opening act, Lloyd, brought out Ashanti and they performed their hit single, "Southside" in front of a surprised and excited crowd and then Ja Rule joined them on stage as he and Ashanti performed "Always On Time". Wow, those songs definitely bring back memories!

The start of Ja Rule‘s two-year prison term for attempted gun possession has been delayed thanks to a Manhattan Supreme Court Judge who is letting the former Murder Inc. rapper stay free until June.

Ja Rule‘s sentencing in his gun case has been delayed until March.  The rapper, born Jeffrey Atkins, was scheduled to be sentenced yesterday, February 9th.

As if pleading to a two-year prison sentence yesterday wasn’t enough, Queens, New York rapper Ja Rule must now contend with hackers, who seem to have taken over his Twitter account.

News broke that Ja Rule is to serve 2 years in prison for a gun charge.
