MTV is making time for President Obama. The cable network has announced plans to move up the start time of Thursday’s Video Music Awards so as to not conflict with the President’s speech at the Democratic National Convention on the same night. The VMAs will now air from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. President Obama is expected to address delegates at the DNC in Charlotte, North Carolina after 10:00 pm.
