Dwyane Wade has been trying for years now, but finally, the basketball star and GQ favorite will be releasing his own clothing line. According to a press release for the upcoming line, it’ll be shown at New York Fashion Week in February. Yes, really.

Named WADE, it’s a collaboration between Chinese sportswear company Li-ning, Wade himself, and shoe designer Alejandro Ingelmo, who was recently brought on as a creative consultant. Ingelmo’s first project for WADE will be a “lifestyle/basketball cultural sneaker” that he’ll show at New York Fashion Week in February, according to a press release.
Previously, Wade said when naming his line he wanted: “A nice, you know, French kind of ring to it. Something that rolls off the tongue.” On something eponymous he quipped: “My name is, it just looks good on a basketball jersey. Besides that, it don’t need nothing else to do.”
