Common Drops New Single: The Next Chapter [AUDIO]

Now that Common has silenced any doubts of his acting ability with his critically lauded performance with his new movie “LUV”,  he’s gone back to his lyrical  roots with a new single “The Next Chapter.”  The song could be considered a sequel to the 1994 classic “I Used To Love H.E.R.” from the “Resurrection” album.

In “The Next Chapter” Common explores the evolution of hip-hop music, with shout outs to producer No I.D. and The Roots.  The track is part of J. Period’s upcoming album, “The Rage Is Back.”
