This week has been an overload of entertainment! From our exclusive R. Kelly listening party for his new album “Black Panties,” to last night’s “Scandal” winter finale, and of course, the visual album Beyonce surprised us with in the wee hours of the morning Friday the 13th that we’ve been listening to all day – we can’t stop buzzing!
#TeamBeautiful decided to keep the conversation with our commentators Rae Holiday and JasFly. Together, we tried to digest the entire Beyonce experience — to say that we’re all impressed is an understatement! — while also delving into another singer who made us sweat: R.Kelly. Our intimate night with him earlier this week had us excited about #BlackPanties, but we wondered if he knew we were chuckling at it.
But, the jokes didn’t stop there. Before Beyonce slayed our whole lives last night, Shonda Rhimes had us on the floor with “Scandal.” It’s safe to say that none of us are here for Quinn or her half-naked behind on “Scandal” and we knew Mama Pope was crazy, but not full-on psychotic. We couldn’t resist bringing up the biting-her-wrists moment, for sure. Cyrus’ demise is leaving us unsettled, and we have more questions. Who’s going to be the next victim? Will Olivia and Mellie finally have a sit-down? Can Olivia stop with the faces? We’ll have to wait until February 27th to know for sure!
